To support the health and vibrancy of our relationship, I will strive to be present with you in much the same way I would like a therapist to be present with me. You can expect that I will:
- Listen deeply, with curiosity and interest in whatever emerges for you.
- Hold any difficult emotions and sensations you may be experiencing with kindness and gentle attention.
- Be clear and direct in sharing with you my observations and experience of the work we do together.
- Respect and respond to your goals for therapy and your sense of what is helpful.
- Offer you an explanation of how the techniques I use in session may be helpful for you.
- Invite you to reflect and provide feedback on how our work is progressing.
